Greetings and good day. I hope that all are doing well. The 4th International Conference on Biomedical Polymers and Polymeric Biomaterials held in the beautiful city of Krakow, Poland was an astounding success. I have attended many conferences in my years in academia, but I admit that this meeting was one of the best that I have ever attended due to the scientific merit and the overall collegiality of ALL the attendees. Truly a rememberable experience, I hope and trust that all the attendees walked away feeling the same. This conference success was largely due to the great, local organizing committee.  The organizing committee was headed by the conference chair, Professor Jan Chłopek, and the conference vice-chair, Professor Elżbieta Pamuła, and composed of members Katarzyna Trała, Patrycja Domalik-Pyzik, Barbara Szaraniec, and Karol Gryń. The arrangements were amazing, and the Polish hospitality was second to none; thank you again for all your tremendous efforts in the organization of such an amazing conference. Of course, a big thank to all our plenary speakers: Andreas Lendlein (Germany), Sandra Van Vlierberghe (Belgium), Eben Alsberg (USA), and Joachim Kohn (USA) for your well-received and insightful contributions. Thank you to all our invited speakers, contributing speakers, poster presenters, and the student participants from around the world. Diversity is a hallmark of this society and its conferences. All of the attendees and their participation made this meeting a scientific and social success. I know all that made it to the Gala dinner will take away fond memories of a fun evening of delicious Polish food and drinks followed by the joyful cultural program and a wild evening of dancing by all. I now look forward to the next meeting in 2020, details to be avaiable soon. You will not want to miss it! Until we meet again, peace, friendship, and good science!
